What you'll do
- Collaborate with clients to identify and refine requirements through interviews and workshops.
- Develop and maintain code related to AI models, data pipelines and platform integrations.
- Translate client needs into actionable project goals for the technical team.
- Develop and manage project plans, resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure adherence to user, legal, ethical, and security requirements.
- Organize and lead stakeholder meetings to maintain clear communication.
- Review deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Manage Jira like a pro to track and monitor project progress.
- Lead post-project evaluations to identify insights and lessons learned.
- Mentor project team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Continuously improve development workflows, QA processes and project documentation.
Requirements
- Strong experience working with agile methodologies.
- Exceptional team player & communicator with the ability to manage various stakeholders effectively.
- Strong proficiency in Jira (or equivalent) for project tracking and management.
- Ability to hold team members accountable for goals, and take responsibility for the work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
- A master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Computer Science, Business Engineering, Applied Economics).
- Familiarity with the data science lifecycle, AI, ML and data driven applications.
- You can explain key AI terminology like deep learning, back propagation, training, inference, etc.
- Results-oriented mindset with the flexibility to adapt as projects evolve.
- Technical experience with backend development (e.g., Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Django), frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js), and machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
Nice-to-haves
- Proven track record of managing software (and/or machine learning) projects successfully.
- Experience with Agentic frameworks and concepts: e.g., MCP, LangChain, LangGraph.
- Familiarity with cloud concepts and environments: virtualization (containers, VM).
- Experience in a company similar to Rollo.
